About Ariko Group

About ARIKO GROUP

ARIKO GROUP is an integrated green business group centered on its Korean headquarters and Malaysian local corporation, RELIANCE REAP SDN. BHD., with renewable-energy development, production, and sales based on palm biomass as its core axis.

Why ARIKO GROUP

Malaysia is the world's second-largest palm oil producer, generating massive palm by-products including approximately 22.4 million tons of EFB and 7.13 million tons of PKS each year. ARIKO GROUP combines these resources with Korean high-speed microbial fermentation and pyrolysis technologies to build a Zero Waste circular industry platform.

Core Business - MECRP

Four Core Products

A Zero Waste internal circular structure turns by-products from each business area into raw materials for the next process, reducing costs and maximizing ESG value.

EFB Moisture Absorbent Block

Livestock Bedding Food Waste Facility

An eco-friendly livestock bedding material made by drying, crushing, sterilizing, and compressing empty fruit bunches (EFB). It is positioned as a direct substitute for sawdust blocks in the Korean market.

  • Uniform quality from a single raw material
  • Excellent moisture absorption and odor adsorption
  • Sterilized and heavy-metal tested

Organic Fertilizer

Agriculture · Fertilizer

Chicken manure, cattle manure, and palm fiber are processed within 14 to 20 days using Korean high-speed microbial fermentation technology, targeting a high-quality product with organic matter content of 65% or higher.

  • High-speed fermentation compared with conventional 3-4 month processes
  • Premium lineup with added biochar
  • Supply to Malaysia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia
  • 100% elimination of harmful bacteria and weed seeds

Premium Fermented Feed

Livestock · Feed

A high-efficiency roughage alternative for ruminants produced through enzyme and microbial fermentation based on oil palm trunk (OPT).

  • 10-14 day processing per batch
  • Ammonia reduction with added zeolite
  • Functional feed for methane reduction

Biochar & Carbon Credit

Energy · Carbon

High-quality biochar with 70-80% carbon content is produced through palm by-product pyrolysis at 400-600°C, with entry into Verra VCS and Gold Standard carbon credit markets.

  • Biochar Carbon Removal Credit(BCRC)
  • 1 ton of biochar = 2.5-2.7 tCO₂e
  • Phase 1 target: 5,000 tons of biochar per month
  • BCRC target: 12,500 tCO₂e per month
  • Syngas waste heat reused within the factory

Zero Waste Internal Circular System

Residual fiber from EFB blocks is used as a carbon source for organic fertilizer, fermentation waste heat is reused for drying, biochar is used as a premium fertilizer additive, and pyrolysis syngas is reused as drying and preheating fuel. By-products from each process become inputs for the next process, enabling zero waste, energy self-reliance, and greater ESG value.
