ARIKO GROUP started with a small challenge in Malaysia in 2006 and has grown over more than 20 years into a leading company in the eco-circular industry based on palm biomass. With headquarters in Daegu, Korea and a local corporation in Selangor, Malaysia, the group is building a green platform that connects both countries.

Palm biomass by-products generated in the palm oil production process, including EFB, OPT, and livestock manure, are not waste but high-value resources. ARIKO GROUP combines fermentation, drying, and pyrolysis technologies to produce EFB moisture absorbent blocks, organic fertilizer, premium fermented feed, and biochar, while also linking the business to carbon credits and a zero waste circular economy model.

Hello. I am Park Young-hwan, Chairman of ARIKO GROUP.

I still vividly remember the moment I encountered millions of tons of by-products being discarded without recognition of their value across Malaysia's vast palm plantations. “Could these materials be brought back to life as resources?” That single question became ARIKO GROUP's first step.

Over the years, we have continued through countless trials, errors, and research to complete proprietary technologies that produce ethanol from oil palm trunks, organic fertilizer from palm shells, moisture-absorbent blocks from fiber, and biochar from woody biomass. When materials once discarded were reborn as products capable of competing confidently in the global market, we became certain of the potential held by this journey.

Today, ARIKO GROUP is built around its Korean headquarters, ARIKO Group Co., Ltd., ARIKO BCI Holdings Co., Ltd., and its Malaysian subsidiary ARIKO BCI Malaysia. ARIKO Distribution, ARIKO Pharmaceutical (Youngwon Pharmaceutical), and ARIKO Design Group (CREHOUSE) each fulfill their responsibilities in their respective fields. In the construction sector, the holding company ARIKO Construction leads ARIKO Construction Group and oversees multiple specialized construction affiliates. ARIKO Research Institute, the Group's R&D organization, continues to drive technological development and innovation.
